This Privacy Policy applies to the International Summit to End Sexual Violence Website (“Summit Website”) and governs the collection, use, retention, and disclosure of personal and sensitive information gathered from the Summit Website. Use of Your Personal Information.  TBTN collects and uses your personal information to operate the Summit Website and deliver the services you have requested. TBTN respects the privacy of our supporters, donors, patrons, and users.  We do not sell information about our users to any outside entities. We may provide users with access to additional products or services in keeping with the goal of providing high-quality resources pertaining to the issues of sexual violence, wellness and safety. TBTN may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or to ask your preference for new topics, programs or services.  TBTN does not use or disclose sensitive personal information, such as race, religion, or political affiliations, without your explicit consent.

TBTN keeps track of the pages and portals used by our supporters and website visitors, in order to determine what services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content to users whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.  TBTN will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on TBTN or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of TBTN; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of TBTN, or the public.

Opt In/Out.  The TBTN manages permission for e-mailing lists for our supporters and patrons. TBTN does not support spamming. The TBTN services are designed to be 100% permission-based and our patrons all subscribe to that model. We support confirmed opt-in/out features. Messages generated by our systems have valid headers and our supporters and patrons are encouraged to utilize our opt-out features in all their mailings if they do not wish to receive correspondence from TBTN.

Changes to this Statement. TBTN will occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect organization and customer feedback. TBTN encourages you to periodically review this Statement to be informed of how TBTN is protecting your information.  This Privacy Policy is considered effective as of March 21, 2016, 2016.
